Since many have undertaken a narrative of the events that would lead one to change Christian religions, from Evangelical Protestant to Catholic, and just as the paths to truth are many and varied but the way of truth straight and narrow, and out of a fervent desire to share truth, and a profound loyalty to the truth of things, I have decided to write down in an orderly sequence for you, most excellent God-lover and friend, of the truth found within the Catholic church, so that you may realize the certainty of the eternal teachings and divine truths found within this church alone, received as heavenly gifts directly from our Lord and Savior, Jesus of Nazareth, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and founder of the one, holy, Catholic and apostolic church.
